Over the last 24 years, I have devoted myself to learning and education. I started my career teaching upper elementary and middle school students, but over the past few years, I have focused more and more on adult learners. After several successful design projects, I am confident that my creativity and ability to translate complex information into bite-size learning will help me effectively address on-job performance requirements.
I am passionate about creating engaging, relevant, and effective learning experiences for diverse audiences. I am also committed to creating inclusive learning environments that welcome and support all learners. Everyone has something to contribute, and I am committed to creating learning environments that are safe and respectful for all.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, hiking with my daughter, going to the gym, and sharing meals and fellowship with friends. I also love cooking and baking for family and neighbors. I am passionate about giving back to the community, and my heart work involves volunteering with a local dog rescue. Fostering dogs and managing the vetting needs of dogs in foster homes combines my love for animals with my commitment to making a difference.
